Clark Commons is an affordable workforce housing apartment project currently under construction in the City of Buena Park. The project is being built on an underutilized, infill site which is part of the former 10-acre city maintenance yard. Keyser Marston, on behalf of the City, prepared a financial gap analysis to determine the amount of financial assistance was warranted to make the affordable units feasible. The transaction involved conveyance of a 1.94-acre site to Developer Jamboree Housing. Clark Commons will be part of a larger mixed-use community being planned by City Ventures. Additional townhomes, retail and community services are envisioned for the remaining portion of the "City Yard" site. Keyser Marston was also the City's financial advisor relating to structuring the terms of the public- private transaction with City Ventures.
