KMA assisted the City of San Diego with financial feasibility analyses and developer negotiations for the Mercado del Barrio mixed-use development near the Barrio Logan trolley station.  KMA assisted the City and San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) with developer selection, financial pro forma analysis of development alternatives, and transaction structuring.  Completed in Fall 2012, the $58 million project contains a 35,000-SF Latino supermarket, 48,000 SF of neighborhood retail, and 92-unit Estrella de Mercado affordable family apartments.
