Wenting Yin is an Associate in Keyser Marston Associates’ San Francisco Office. She joined KMA in 2017, bringing academic and professional experience in urban economics and informatics, as well as large scale master planning.
Wenting is currently working on projects involving the fiscal impact analysis of proposed Enhanced Infrastructure Finance Districts (EIFDs) and bond issuance analysis at KMA.
Prior to joining KMA, Wenting gained a systematic understanding of urban development, from master planning to economic development. During her tenure at the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG), she worked on economic and housing analyses for policy planning. While earning her graduate degree in Michigan, she conducted a program evaluation for the Detroit Land Bank Authority, fiscal impact analyses on cities, and a data and policy analysis on an online housing short-rental service (Airbnb). Additionally, Wenting gained 2 years of professional experience in large-scale master plans during her stay in China.
Wenting holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a Master’s degree in Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Tongji University, China.
